The Directorate of Defence of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Ministry of the Economy, the National Research Fund and Luxinnovation join forces to offer a new funding opportunity to enterprises and research organisations (“Stakeholders”) looking to develop defence technologies (products, services and systems). 

The organisers of the call have joined forces to offer companies and research institutes a new funding opportunity that supports consortia to take advantage of 5G communication technologies. It is already possible to consult the objectives, topics, and eligibility criteria of the call. 

The joint call provides financial incentives to accelerate the successful transition of existing communication technologies to 5G and comparable technologies. It aims to encourage close and interactive collaborations between private companies and public research institutes (public-private partnerships) to carry out innovative research projects on 5G communication technologies. 

The webinars will provide more information about the objectives and modalities of the call and will explain how to prepare project applications until 9 February 2024. The webinars will include Q&A sessions where participants can ask their questions. Questions can be asked directly during the webinars or in advance via email to contact@research-industry-collaboration.lu. The Ministry of State, Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy, the Ministry of the Economy, the FNR and Luxinnovation will do their very best to reply to all questions.
